| Description: |
We have developed an applet running in IE. The applet imports several library jar packages to use classes included in the packages. Recently, we accidently lost our source codes so we need to intercept argument values to apply new algorithms. The objective of this work is to write a log file of argument values inputted into methods included in jar packages. Since the applet should access all folders in a computer, all jar packages were signed. Simply speaking, you have to hook methods included in one of signed jar packages and used by the applet. The applet is used for log-in and submitting user's queries to a server in IE. The target methods to hook encrypt/decrypt user's information. We want to hook the methods to apply new encryption/decryption algorithms. Currently, your job is simply to write a log. After completion, you should give developed source codes and a document explaining how to use your program. Please let us know what you have to know to develop the program. System environment: HTML runs the applet (xxxx1.jar) and the applet requires about 10 more additional jar files. The target methods to be hooked are contained in one of the additional jar files (xxxx2.jar). [encrypt and decrypt methods in XXXX class contained in xxxx2.jar). All jar files were signed, because the applet should be able to access any folders. |
