Hi, I have a team of developers that are finding it difficult to automate the creation a certain type of pdf. We are building a real estate website and once we have inserted all of the details about someones house into the MS Sql database we will want to display this information on a pdf document which will include photographs of the property. My team of programmers can create the pdf with the template we had designed and they can get the information and photographs to display but what they cannot do is only display the room names that we asked them to. For example, if we have say 10 possible room types for a property like Lounge, Kitchen, Laundry Room, Bedroom etc but a house we want to list only has say 3 of those rooms we would only want to display the 3 room names and then the detail and photographs for each of those rooms. At the moment the pdf gets created with all room names even if the room name / type in the property does not exist. So we end up having lots of whitespace which is not necessary. I guess this is a formatting issue which I need to fix. I know this is possible because I have seen it on other websites before. We just need to know how to do it. This is a post for advice on how this can be achieved. I do not need anybody to do the work but I will need you to speak with my programmers and tell them the technique. I will pay for your advice as long as we are able to achieve what we want. I am also hapopy to escrow the funds. Thanks Chris |
